The MUCEM's exhibitions present a wealth of culture and show the social, scientific and political history of the Euro-Mediterranean world from prehistory to the present day, combining fine arts, anthropology, history, archaeology, and contemporary art. Its permanent exhibition "Le Grand Mezze", dedicated to the Mediterranean diet, takes you on the journey from "field to plate", from the colourful markets of the Mediterranean to multinational restaurant chains.

19 October 2022 – 13 February 2023: FRIENDSHIPS IN ART (20th to 21st century art) - From Picasso to Picabia and Warhol to Basquiat, discover close to 100 works drawn from public and private collections showcasing various types of collaborative venture. This exhibition also features experimental collective works by philosophers, writers, musicians and filmmakers.
