The MUCEM's exhibitions present a wealth of culture and show the social, scientific and political history of the Euro-Mediterranean world from prehistory to the present day, combining fine arts, anthropology, history, archaeology, and contemporary art. Its permanent exhibition "Le Grand Mezze", dedicated to the Mediterranean diet, takes you on the journey from "field to plate", from the colourful markets of the Mediterranean to multinational restaurant chains.

BARVALO. Roma, Sinti, Manouches, Gitanos, Travellers... (10 May - 4 September 2023) «Barvalo», meaning «rich» and by extension «proud» in Romani, is about the history and cultures of the Romani people in Europe.
FASHION FOLKLORE (12 July - 6 November 2023) The exhibition project thus intends to offer a panorama of the dialogue between traditional costume and haute couture. The Mucem’s textile collections are compared with pieces of haute couture and bear witness to the continuities that permeate the history of fashion
ANOTHER HISTORY OF THE WORLD (8 November 2023 - 11 March 2024) This exhibition aims to present a decentred history of the world from the 13th to the 21st century in an accessible and reflective manner.
