What to expect
Classed as the No. 1 zoo in France and ranked among the 4 most beautiful zoological parks in the world, ZooParc de Beauval is home to the largest diversity of animals in France with more than 35,000 animals from all continents including two giant pandas, found nowhere else in France!
Beauval shelters some 800 species, that reveal their mysteries all along the green alleys, among the plains, at the center of innovative facilities. Rare, surprising, endangered for some of them, sometimes unique in France, these animals belong to seven big families: big cats, primates, herbivores, birds, reptiles, fishes, and aquatic mammals.
Discover the Equatorial Dome, where you will explore a greenhouse unique in the world, offering more than 12 000 m² of visits. During this immersion in lush vegetation, meet giant otters, Komodo lizards, or pygmy hippos. Among several hundred incredible species, some of which are unique in France: the langurs de Douc and the ferocious harpies.
In addition, the park also offers two fascinating shows. Les Maîtres des Airs' takes of again, 200 birds flying above the heads of the audience in an outdoor auditorium that seats 3,000 people. Owls, cranes, pelicans, storks, ibises, and marabous join the air ballet of the raptors to give us an unforgettable show with a dazzling finale! L’Odyssée des lions de mer, agile and playful sea lions compete with dexterity and balance in the magical setting of the aquatic amphitheater.
