From the underground rooms to the banquet halls, by way of the famous latrines, right up to the top of the keep, you can tour the castle at your leisure, with help from our brochure (available in 17 languages) and a map; navigating your way through the rooms in numerical order, or in any direction you like. Most people take around 1.5-2 hours to walk around this island fort. There is no time limit unless the castle is about to close.
