Meet your guide at 9.00 am in front of the Bordeaux tourist Office and jump into your minivan. On the way to Saint-Emilion, your guide will give you loads of information about the region, the wines, and the culture.
Then, enjoy a guided tour in the charming village of Saint Emilion dating back from the 9th century and still perfectly preserved thanks to its classification on the UNESCO heritage list. Located at the top of a hill, be amazed by the breathtaking views on the surrounding vineyards.
Continue your tour to a beautiful Classified Growth chateau just outside the village. Enjoy a little walk in the middle of the vineyards and then visit a winery of Saint-Emilion classified as an appellation. Learn about the wine-making process from the vine to the bottle, and sample 2 wines of the property inside the castle. To end on a high note your visit, taste an aperitif made of local and fresh delicacies: bread, cheese, charcuterie, and chocolate.
You will arrive back in Bordeaux at approximately 1.00 pm.
