Welcome to Giverny, Normandy. This small French village became famous thanks to Claude Monet, the impressionist painter (1840-1926) who lived there for over forty years. He made his home a place of inspiration and creation, where he left his mind free to imagine its future paintings. Then we couldn't hear or understand what information given to us on the bus. The bus was comfortable but the whole experience was a disorganised shambles”
