You'll leave Paris in the morning and you'll stop in Rouen for a walking tour of the historic district featuring the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Gros Horloge, the half-timbered houses, and the medieval pedestrian streets that give the area an authentic charm. You'll then head to Honfleur and enjoy the picturesque streets and colorful houses of this quintessential harbor town. After lunch, the bus will set off to the famous Normandy beaches, the American Cemetery, and Arromanches beach. The day ends at the Caen Novotel (or a similar hotel) where you will have dinner and spend the night.
DAY 2: Saint-Malo and the Mont Saint-Michel
Enjoy a breakfast buffet and head to Saint-Malo. Admire the city walls, Château, Saint-Malo Cathedral, and Fort National. You will then have time for lunch in a restaurant of your choice. You'll then drive to Mont Saint-Michel and walk to the top of the village where the Benedectine abbey stands. You'll enjoy a guided tour of the abbey, and stroll the bustling streets. Around 4.30 pm, the bus will leave for Angers where you'll have dinner and spend the night.
DAY 3: Loire Valley Castles of Langeais, Chenonceau
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and set off for the Loire Valley. Your guide will take you through the interior of the château de Langeais, where depictions of everyday life in the medieval era using highly realistic wax figures will take you on a voyage of discovery through French history. You'll have lunch in Amboise, and head to Château de Chenonceau, a Renaissance masterpiece that has played a major role in French history. The bus will leave from Chenonceaux at 5.15 pm to arrive in downtown Paris around 8.00 pm.
