Heel fijn om zo het museum binnen te kunnen en van de gids te leren over de afbeeldingen van de friezen van het Parthenon dat we later zouden zien. Ik had gehoopt nog even uit de bus te kunnen stappen om de zuilen van de Zeus tempel in het park te zien maar ik begrijp dat het ochtendprogramma te vol wordt om behalve het Panathenaiko stadion nog uit de bus te kunnen voor andere bezienswaardigheden.

Finish the morning with a guided visit to the award-winning Acropolis Museum. It's built over an archaeological site, which can be surveyed as you enter.
