What to remember

Know in advance:

  • Visits take place every day from 10.00am to 4.00pm (from 10.00am to 5.00pm from mid-July to the end of August) unless there are exceptional closures. The monument closes one hour later
  • For reasons related to theatre activity, the Auditorium is regularly inaccessible to visitors. In exceptional circumstances, some areas may be closed
  • Systematic access to the Auditorium cannot be guaranteed as it depends on the performance and rehearsal schedule
  • The performance hall is regularly inaccessible to visitors due to the theatre's activity
  • The temporary exhibitions area is unfortunately not accessible to people with reduced mobility
  • Visitors eligible for free or reduced admission must collect their entrance tickets at the ticket office and present their ID
  • Reduced admission for young people aged 12-25, holders of a valid Opera subscriber card, holders of a visit ticket for the Bastille Opera, holders of a maximum 8-days old ticket for the Musée d’Orsay or Musée Gustave Moreau, holders of the Pass Navigo, Pass senior or Imagine’R card
  • Free admission for children under the age of 12, disabled visitor and their helper, unemployed visitors, recipients of social assistance/RSA/other minimum social benefits, holders of the Pass’ Jeunes Opéra, holders of the AROP Particulier card, holders of the Carte Culture, holders of the French professional tour guide card, holders of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France’s reader’s card, Architecture students and École du Louvre students
