The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam is the largest museum for modern and contemporary art in the Netherlands. Opened in 1895 in Museumplein, it houses masterpieces from artists like Mondrian, Picasso, Lichtenstein, Haring, Appel, Dumas, De Kooning, Malevich, Koons, Kusama and many others.

The museum also boasts a collection of design objects, including furniture, jewelry, posters and textiles, that are exhibited on a large scale for the first time in the museum’s history. And last but not least, marvel at the museum building fully renovated and expanded with a futuristic new wing at Amsterdam's Museum Square.
From 5 June – 24 October 2021 you can see the exhibition of the American artist Bruce Nauman.
In collaboration with Tate Modern, the Stedelijk Museum presents the largest overview of the American artist, Bruce Nauman, in the Netherlands up to now. Spanning a period of more than fifty years, the exhibition includes a selection of works that have rarely or never been shown. See works that propelled his creative focus in a new direction and spatial works that invite the viewer to share in an immersive experience.
