Your first stop of the day will be Linlithgow, a historic town that is the perfect place to start your Scottish adventure. You'll admire the famed Linlithgow Palace and stroll around its loch before heading to Stirling, the former capital of Scotland. Here, you'll see the site of two of the most important battles to preserve Scotland's independence as a nation as well as the famous castle.
Leaving Stirling behind, you'll go to Doune Castle which will be very familiar to 'Outlander' and 'Game of Thrones' fans. Soak up the movie magic before you head to Aberfoyle through the Duke's pass and take in the stunning views of the munros and lochs that'll make you feel like you're in the Highlands.
You'll enjoy a coffee at the shore of the beautiful Loch Katrine and then go to Callander and Culross to see what a typical Scottish village looks like!
