Admire the beautiful collection of artifacts and listen to stories both past and present about the area. You will experience the rich culture and industrial history of the wonderful Zaanstreek. Listen to the free audio guide which will tell you everything you need to know about the various rooms you pass and the stories behind interesting objects.
Right at the heart of the museum, you will find the Verkade Experience, a treat for young and old. Travel back to the chocolate and biscuit factory of the early twentieth century, where the original machines are still churning away and the history of Verkade comes alive.

Zaans Museum. Parking is possible next to the Zaanse Schans, next to the Zaans Museum for a small parking fee, you can book your discounted parking ticket in advance at checkout. The museum is on walking distance from train station Zaandijk-Zaanse Schans and from the bus stop of bus 391 parking from Amsterdam Central Station.
