Things to do in Train World
Train World in Belgium will take you on a journey from the very beginnings of railway transport till the present day.
You'll get to learn all about the history of Belgium’s railway network, which is the oldest on the European continent! The museum holds an impressive collection from steam engines to electric and diesel. The star of the show is the oldest remaining steam engine in Europe, the Pays de Waes.
At the museum you can enjoy exciting exhibitions, walk among and climb aboard locomotives, visit a small railway house model and cross an authentic metal bridge railway bridge. You can even experience what it feels like to drive a train with the driving simulator, which also shows how the Belgian landscape has changed over the years!
