Inside, explore the gardens covering an area of 32 hectares (79 acres), where approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted annually. Widely known for its tulips, the gardens also feature numerous other flowers, including hyacinths, daffodils, lilies, roses, carnations, and irises.

The Hop on Hop off Holland tour to Keukenhof departs from This is Holland, Overhoeksplein in Amsterdam. To get to This is Holland, take the free ferry from platform F3 behind Central Station. The ferry shows direction “Buiksloterweg”.
What to remember

Know in advance:

  • infants (age 0-2) may join the tour for free - they must sit on the parent's lap (they can not occupy a seat)
  • the bus ride to Keukenhof Gardens from Amsterdam takes between 40-55 minutes
  • shuttle buses depart Keukenhof every 30 minutes from 9.00am to 6.30pm (last departure)
  • kindly hold onto your ticket carefully, as this is also your ticket for the return trip to Amsterdam
  • upon arrival at Keukenhof you will be offered a multilingual leaflet available in English, Spanish, or German
