Enjoy a 3-hour tour of a Provençal truffle plantation and learn more about how truffles are cultivated and how truffle dogs are trained in the Luberon.
You will go on a hunt for France's elusive "black gold" through the forest with professional hunters who know all the tricks of the trade. You'll be impressed with the excitement as the dog begins to dig for these edible treasures! You will listen to surprising stories and anecdotes and will know the difference between a real Provencal tuber melanosporum and its inferior Chinese counterparts. You will also learn how to clean, preserve, and cook truffles properly.
Finally, to end this visit in beauty, you will be treated to a delightful tasting that incorporates the fresh truffle, champagne, and a tasting of organic Les Pastras olive and truffle oil produced on the farm.
